Today our good friend Dr Rangihiroa Panoho launches his book Maori Art – History, Architecture, Landscape and Theory.
It’s been a 23 year journey to pull this evocative book from his heart into glorious print, and it’s beautiful! I had the pleasure of photographing Rangi a couple of weeks back putting a face to the authors name. Not only can he communicate through words, music & paint, but he also takes a strikingly good photo. A selection of images from our session amongst toi toi & fernery.
